    2026 Outstanding Alumni Honorees:
    Marianne Cahill McGhee '83
As a second-grade teacher at Villa Madonna Academy, Marianne goes above and beyond to inspire and engage students in and out of the classroom.  Her unwavering commitment to their academic growth, paired with her genuine care for their personal success, has fostered a learning environment where curiosity, critical thinking and resilience thrive.

Beyond her role as an educator, Marianne has served as a mentor and role model to countless faculty members, embodying the Benedictine values of Villa Madonna Academy. Her influence extends far beyond the academic realm, as she encourages students and her peers to develop character, integrity, and a lifelong love of learning.

    Naashom Marx '97
Naashom’s commitment to service is deeply rooted in her Benedictine education. She served as a volunteer with the Peace Corps in Bangladesh, where she partnered with local communities and organizations to address challenges through collaboration and innovation. She also worked with nonprofit organizations in Uganda, continuing her efforts to connect nonprofit, entrepreneurial, and commercial sectors to strengthen communities.

Today, she continues to live out this commitment through active volunteerism in Covington, contributing her time and talents to support and uplift her local community.

Throughout her career, Naashom has demonstrated exceptional leadership grounded in humility, vision, and collaboration. She has a unique ability to bring together diverse stakeholders to solve complex challenges and create lasting impacts. Her leadership in advancing mobility initiatives and fostering innovation reflects not only professional excellence but also a deep commitment to stewardship and the common good.

    Jonthan Aydt '03
The Benedictine values of hospitality and respect learned at an early age as a student at Villa are reflected in Jon’s care and compassion for children as a coach and as a foster parent.

This past school year, Jon played an instrumental role in organizing and running our Boosters Shoot-A-Thon fundraiser. Thanks to his leadership, dedication, and countless hours of work behind the scenes, the event was a tremendous success and raised a total of $18,000 for our athletics program. As a coach of his son’s teams, Jon leads by example, showing patience, positivity, and a genuine passion for helping young athletes grow both on and off the court. He takes the time to teach skills, build confidence, and emphasize sportsmanship, making a lasting impact on the players.
