Ways to Give

Villa Madonna Academy offers a range of gift-planning options to donors. Feel free to construct your gift with the asset or assets most suited to your financial situation. Contributions may be made using any asset and transfer vehicle, such as:

Cash Gifts - Most gifts are made with outright cash contributions. The school appreciates cash gifts or contributions via credit card. Your cash gift is tax-deductible in the year of the gift. Click here to make your cash gift donation.

Matching Gifts - Donors are encouraged to contact their employer to take advantage of any matching gift programs offered. Having an employer match a gift leverages your gift to a higher level.

Securities - Appreciated securities are an excellent asset to use in making a charitable gift. You can maximize tax savings by receiving an income tax charitable deduction for the fair market value of the appreciated securities, and you may avoid capital gains tax.

Bequests/Planned Gift - There are many kinds of planned gifts, including, but not limited to: simple bequests in a will or an estate plan, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts, and non-cash assets. Click below for more information.

Support Villa Madonna Academy through Endow Kentucky - A Tax Smart Giving Opportunity - Are you looking for a tax-efficient way to support Villa Madonna Academy? While charitable donations often qualify for a tax deduction, the Endow Kentucky Tax Credit offers an even greater financial benefit.

Beginning July 1st of each year, the Commonwealth of Kentucky will make $1 million in state tax credits available for donations made to Qualified Endowment Funds-including the Villa Madonna Academy Endowed Fund at Horizon Community Funds of Northern Kentucky

This is a limited-time opportunity: the credit allocation is typically exhausted within the first week of availability. Interested donors are strongly encouraged to submit the simple, one-page Endow Kentucky application to the Kentucky Department of Revenue between July 1 and July 7.

We invite you to take advantage of this unique incentive to make a lasting impact on Villa Madonna Academy while also receiving a valuable state tax credit.

To learn more or begin your application, please contact Nancy Grayson at Horizon Community Funds at 859-757-1552, and indicate your interest in supporting the Villa Madonna Academy Endowment Fund or visit https://horizonfunds.org/2025-endow-kentucky-tax-credit/.
