From Our Executive Director

Dear Villa Community,

We are so excited to embrace all of the joy and opportunities of the new school year!  In a true sense of gratitude, we are so thankful for the successes of the last school year.  Now, it is time to keep in our hearts our newest alumni who will make this world a better place and our incredible Villa students who will continue the legacy of the Benedictine sisters.

As we continue to deal with an ever-changing world,  we  do so in the spirit of St. Benedict - a spirit founded on listening and respect.   Our faculty and staff seize every opportunity to grow beyond measure, to meet challenges with positive attitudes, and to recognize the "silver lining" in all situations. Our students and families embrace this year in the true Benedictine spirit of community, in the true sense that it is Here, We Belong.

The tremendous support of our Villa family is truly appreciated. Our high school is a three-time recognized National Blue Ribbon School, the most recent award in 2020.  Student test scores surpass local, state, and national averages, and our graduates attend universities from New York University to the University of Notre Dame, from the University of Southern California to Harvard. They are appreciative of diverse cultures, and they begin university life with a work ethic that sees them to their dreams.  Our elementary school is consistently ranked a top elementary school in the area, and our school is even named one of the Best Workplaces in Northern Kentucky!

There is much excitement as we continue to move toward our goal in the Transform Our Future Treasure Our Tradition capital campaign. Plans are underway for the renovation of the Center Building and the creation of a STEM wing for high school and junior high students.  Your support is needed and appreciated.

In the spirit of St. Benedict, our commitment to you is this:  We vow to Listen.  Learn.  Lead.  Love.  Together we remain strong.  We help our students to become leaders and to develop as reflective disciples in a world that continually presents the unknown.  Together, we welcome the challenges with open hearts and minds.

Let us embrace the days ahead committed to love of God and neighbor, stewardship of the Earth, and hospitality to the guest and stranger.  After all, we are strong.  We are Benedictine.  We are Villa.

God’s Peace,

Mrs. Pamela McQueen
