Named in tribute to St. Walburg, the patroness of the Benedictine Sisters who founded the Academy, this society embodies the spirit of generosity, leadership, and commitment to Villa Madonna’s mission. Contributions at this level provide vital, flexible support that allows the Academy to address its most pressing needs and seize opportunities for growth and excellence.

Named in honor of St. Scholastica, the twin sister of St. Benedict and a model of faith, wisdom, and devotion, this giving society reflects the core Benedictine values that guide Villa Madonna Academy.

Support from St. Scholastica Society members provides essential, flexible funding that strengthens the Academy’s ability to respond to emerging needs, enhance student experiences, and pursue strategic priorities. 1904 Club

Villa Madonna Academy’s Newest Giving Level

The 1904 Club is a new and impactful way to support Villa Madonna Academy honoring the year of the school’s founding. Members of this club commit to a recurring monthly EFT (electronic funds transfer) donation of $19.04 creating a consistent and reliable stream of support throughout the year.

Recurring gifts at this level play a vital role in helping to offset operating expenses, ensuring the Academy can continue to deliver an exceptional education rooted in Benedictine values. This steady form of giving allows Villa Madonna to better plan for the future, respond to ongoing needs, and maintain the high standards that define the school’s mission.

Leave a legacy to Villa and become a member of The Legacy Society.

At Villa Madonna Academy, children receive more than an outstanding academic experience; they receive an education grounded in Benedictine tradition. Reverence and peace, scholarship, service, and community are more than just words; they are the way we live, work, and learn.

Ensuring the legacy of excellence of a Benedictine education at Villa is important and worthy of consideration. The meaningful experience you had is still happening today and will be just as meaningful to young people tomorrow.

A legacy gift to Villa will ensure the future of the school. Even a small donation over several years can be more meaningful than you imagined. And, you can leave a gift to Villa Madonna Academy and still take care of your loved ones. Both are possible, and in some cases, a charitable gift may have tax and planning benefits, in addition to helping Villa and its students.

Those who name Villa Madonna Academy in their estate plans are members of a small but important group called The Legacy Society. You, too, can be a member. Please let us know if you have named Villa in your estate plan, and we will be honored to include you as well.

You don’t have to wait. You can begin today.

It is not too soon to arrange for a legacy gift. First, make sure you have a will and appropriate estate plan. Without one, you lose the opportunity to control what happens to your assets and possessions. Those decisions will be made by state law. Second, contact a trusted financial advisor, attorney, or accountant. Ask for advice for providing a charitable gift to Villa Madonna Academy. There are many options besides a cash gift. Several are listed below. Please consider one as your legacy.

Legacy Gift Opportunities

A gift to Villa through your will and estate plan. This may be a cash gift of any size, marketable securities, real estate, jewelry, or insurance proceeds, to name a few.
Name Villa Madonna Academy as the beneficiary of your IRA or a portion thereof.
Name Villa Madonna Academy as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy or a portion thereof.
Designate memorial gifts to Villa Madonna Academy.
Establish a scholarship in your name or the name of a loved one.
Charitable Gift Annuity – A gift of cash or property to Villa now, gets immediate tax benefits and ensures you or a loved one receive periodic payments for life.
Charitable Remainder Trust – Cash, securities, or other property are placed in a trust that pays annual income to you, and/or a beneficiary, for life. At the death of the last beneficiary, the remainder of the trust transfers to Villa Madonna Academy and is placed into a charitable fund you have chosen. You receive income tax benefits the year you establish the trust.
Naming Opportunities – For donors who wish to make a significant contribution for a specific purpose, a naming opportunity on campus is a consideration.

Restricted vs. Unrestricted Gifts

At Villa Madonna Academy, we deeply value every contribution made in support of our mission. However, it's important to understand the distinction between restricted and unrestricted funds when it comes to annual appeal recognition.

Restricted gifts - such as scholarship donations, memorial contributions, and Capital Campaign pledges-are designated by the donor for specific purposes. While these gifts make a meaningful impact, they are allocated to particular programs or funds and cannot be used for general operating needs.

In contrast, unrestricted gifts support our school's greatest needs and day-to-day operations. These flexible funds allow us to respond to immediate priorities and invest in opportunities that benefit the entire school community.

As such, only unrestricted giving is counted toward Annual Appeal Society and Club recognition levels. This ensures we appropriately acknowledge donors who contribute directly to the school's annual fund and its most urgent needs.

We are grateful for all types of support-both restricted and unrestricted-as each plays a vital role in our success. Thank you for your generosity and commitment to our mission.
