History of the Athletic Hall of Fame

The first induction of athletes into the Villa Madonna Academy Athletic Hall of Fame occurred in October 2009. Eight athletes and one coach were honored.

In its history, the Academy has had numerous athletes, teams, and coaches that have accomplished noteworthy achievements. The Hall of Fame was established to honor their legacy. The philosophy of the Athletic Hall of Fame was not only to recognize the inductees, but to demonstrate what dedication can do for students who pursue activities with diligence and determination. Inductees are role models for both current and future Villa students.

On September 12, 2015, Villa inducted nine new members into the Hall of Fame. Also at the Induction, the 1980 State Championship Swim Team and the 1970s State Championship Swim Teams were recognized.
